Ubisoft's Hyper Scape is all about the so-called hacks, abilities which you can collect across the map. But how many are there and what can you do with them?

The beta of Hyper Scape was launched surprisingly last night, July 2. The champions in this Battle Royal have to fight their way through with weapons, typical for shooters - but how good that there are other ways to make life difficult for your opponents: Hacks. These in-game skills are spread all over the map and must be collected and then used. This allows any selected champion to potentially use any skill they can find, if they're fast enough. So there are no fixed roles like healer or tank - everyone can specialize in anything.

As with weapons, you have to pick up the hacks you find and press the "Interaction" button. Your own so-called echo will then grab them and add them to your inventory.

All Hyper Scape Hacks at a glance

There are currently nine hacks, ranging from invisibility to healing, from turning into a ball to the ability to build a wall.

This is the only way to get beta keys at the moment. Whether this method will reap as much success as Valorant did remains to be seen.
