The offseason in competitive League of Legends is still ongoing! Now we have received some interesting news from North America. It seems like two LCS legends are bound to reunite at 100 Thieves. Everything we know about Bjergsen and Doublelift's potential new team.
The offseason in competitive League of Legends seems to get better and better. This potential roster move is something for old-school LCS fans: According to sources, Doublelift and Bjergsen might be reuniting at 100 Thieves. While Doublelift has been out of esports for a couple of years and is aiming at a return, Bjergsen has parted ways with Team Liquid only a couple of weeks ago.
It's fair to say that 100 Thieves seems to be out for two great LCS veterans for the upcoming season. Who broke the news about the potential agreement between 100 Thieves, Bjergsen and Doublelift? What can we expect of their squad for 2023? All you need to know right here.
LoL Players Bjergsen and Doublelift: Verbal Agreement With 100 Thieves
A few days ago, well known LoL esports insider Brieuc "LEC Wooloo" Seeger broke the news on Twitter. According to his sources, Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng has reached a "verbal agreement" with the 100 Thieves organization. The 29-year-old american has most recently been part of TSM, but has also played on bot lane for Team Liquid or Counter Logic Gaming.
Same goes for Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg. Sources close to Brieuc Seeger have confirmed that he will be playing for 100 Thieves next year. Over the course of the last year, Bjergsen has been part of Team Liquid, but he is most well known for being the mid laner of TSM. Arriving there in 2013 after a short stint with Ninjas in Pyjamas, he became one of the best mid laners in the world.

100 Thieves: Potential Roster and Lookout For 2023 Season
The star power behind the names of Bjergsen and Doublelift is almost unmatched. These two are without a doubt two of the biggest stars that have emerged from North America. If you didn't know already, these two have been playing on the same team for quite a while and also have a great relationship off-stage.
But how does the rest of the 100 Thieves roster look like for next season? While Bjergsen and Doublelift cover the mid and bottom lane, there are still three more spots to fill. As of now, it's most likely that we will only see one player from the 2022 roster remain with the team. We are talking about 100T jungler Can "Closer" Çelik. Top lane and support position will be filled by two academy roster promotions.
Doublelift's partner on bot lane will most likely be Alan "Busio" Cwalina, while on top lane we'll see his teammate from 100 Thieves Academy, Milan "Tenacity" Oleksij. Let's take a quick look at the full roster:
- Top Lane: Tenacity
- Jungle: Closer
- Mid Lane: Bjergsen
- Bot Lane: Doublelift
- Support: Busio
Well, what do you think about this roster? It's an obvious mix of a lot of experience and unproven talent. It might be fruitful, especially for Tenacity and Busio. If they manage to achieve a great chemistry with their older teammates, 100 Thieves might be up for a great season.
