LoL Patch 13.9 has some interesting nerfs ready for some overpowered champions.
LoL Patch 13.9 is going to be a much smaller patch. Riot just revealed which champions they'll be looking into, and have also explained that while the 2023 Neeko Mid-Scope Update is going to go live, other than that there won't be too may huge changes.
One champion is definitely getting nerfed though and while she is a staple to League of Legends we've had quite enough of her and hope that some of her power will be tuned down to make her more bearable.
LoL Patch 13.9: Jinx One Of Two Champions To Get Nerfed
Jinx is probably the best champion in the game right now. While the meta heavily favours top laners right now, that doesn't mean that bot laners aren't important. They're a key damage element for any late game fight and no one does that better than Jinx.

She's a versatile champion with insane amounts of damage, a useful global ultimate and she can stay pretty safe thanks to her chompers. What's not to love about this champion, right? Well, right now, after some nerfs to other bot laners, she's come forth as the best pick in the current meta.
In the bot lane she has a very good win rate of over 51%, with a 30% pick rate. This goes to show that anyone can win with Jinx. Sure, looking at win rate Seraphine sports a massive 54% win rate as an APC, but she's only got a 1% pick rate, making her a very niche pick.
Jinx on the other hand is the type of champion that anyone can play and win with, because of the sheer strength and reliability she has right now. She is especially good into popular picks like Caitlyn and Zeri, both of whom hover around the 10% pick rate mark.
In LoL Patch 13.5 Jinx received a few buffs and while it's taken a while for her to truly cement herself as the top dog in the bot lane, she is now finally in the top spot. She feels like a must-pick or a must-ban so Riot is going to look how to nerf her.
When we receive the early patch notes from Riot we'll know what exactly Riot is going to nerf on her kit. Will they revert any of the Patch 13.5 buffs?
