The legendary French rifler is on the lookout for a new home yet again. His time at Indian org Revenant comes to an unhappy end.

Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt is no longer a part of Revenant’s CS2 lineup, as he announced via Twitter/X today. The 30-year-old French rifler is a restricted Free Agent.

NBK- is looking for a new home!

His time as the in game leader at Revenant was turbulent and rather short. As he also pointed out in his statement, the team was unable to establish a constant starting roster and therefore failed to compete at a higher level. They only won two low tier events during their time together.

The French legend is therefore on the hunt for a new opportunity, he is "immediately ready to play and available". He further stated, that he is also open to stand in. The main prospect about his potential new project must be, that it’s got a chance to be competitive long-term.

The Revenant roster was assembled in June 2024. Back then it featured Adelin “adeX” Nica, Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea, Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom and Kamil "reiko" Cegiełko. NBK- was the captain of the squad, and as he stated, also responsible for plenty of further tasks.

"Natural Born Killer" - a legend of the game

NBK- truly is an absolute legend, and it is sad to see the two time Major winner without a team yet again. His most successful time dates back to the early CS:GO days. Winning his first Major with Team LDLC back in 2014, before joining Envyus and repeating the success in 2015. He is also known as the "Kingmaker", known for his successful supportive play and help in developing rosters.

Ever since, NBK- switched teams on almost yearly bases. Joining G2 in 2017, Vitality in 2018 and OG at the end of 2019. He then quit CS:GO in early 2021, pursuing a career in Valoranthowever, he came back to CS in 2022. He played for MOUZ, Falcons and now Revenant, mostly as an in game leader. Those teams mostly struggled to compete at the top level, with his last Major appearance yet dating back more than five years, at the 2019 Starladder Berlin event.

He now hopes all his experience and class are enough, in order to find a new home again. We can only hope that this comes to fruition.

What do you think? Can NBK- still play at a high level? Or should he consider a full-time coaching career at this point?
