Streamer Adin Ross bought the original Breaking Bad house and people are not happy with it.
According to RealityTea, the original owner of the original iconic Breaking Bad house in Albuquerque decided to sell it: First for $4 Million, then for $400k. Now, Adin Ross owns it.
The Importance Of The House To The Fans
The Breaking Bad house is iconic – everyone who has seen Breaking Bad, even just for one episode, knows what it looks like. It's recognizable, a big part of the show and therefore means a lot to fans.
After price of the house was lowered by the former owners, streamer Adin Ross started bidding on it. Ultimately, he won, officially making him the new owner of the Albuquerque based house. After announcing this news, he goes into detail about his plans with the house in the future.
I bought the breaking bad house, I will do everything in my power to make the breaking bad fans happy. I will put my 100% into this project, making the breaking bad house 1:1, just how you see it in the show. Stay tuned because I want everyone to be apart of the journey

While we hope that by recreating it 1:1 he means only the interior of the house and not the contents of the show, other fans are still not happy with the fact that he is now the official owner.
Fans Are Upset: Why Did It Have To Be Adin Ross?
Though the general idea of making the interior of the house look exactly the way it looks in the show is one that a lot of fans might actually appreciate, people have a problem with the fact that out of all people, it had to have been Adin Ross who gets the house. The backlash he got on Twitter was truly overwhelming.
Never thought that Walter White would become the second most evil person to live in this house https://t.co/oVaBHz5o0x

And this seems to be most people's issue with that particular situation. Adin Ross is generally viewed as a very controversial streamer. He is known for saying homophobic things, supporting right-wing ideologies and potentially most notably for endorsing Donald Trump. Some others are more worried that the house might just not be in the right hands, given its status in the film and television industry. Another person replied to the news:
The worst type of person owning a historic piece of television.

If the streamer keeps his promise, we will get more news about his project in the future. As content, his purchase was probably worth it. But how well he will manage to recreate the house's interior remains to be seen.
