In the ongoing debate about comparing the amount of work of streamers to regular jobs, Kai Cenat blasts other streamers with his opinion.

In a podcast, Twitch streamer Kai Cenat was asked about his two cents about the ongoing debate if the job of a streamer can be compared to a regular 9-5 job.
During the never-ending debate and the question if the career of a content creator really is as difficult as a 9-5 job, more and more people raise their voice and lean into one of the two sides. So did Kai Cenat, one of Twitch's biggest streamer recently, when he gave his pretty straight opinion.
Streaming as hard as 9-5?
While more and more people are able to make a living with their streaming hobby, there is also a big part of content creators claiming how difficult the job is.
For some it is the constant pressure and the feeling to never really 'clock out' that makes the job as a streamer so hard. Others claim that the biggest problem is being constantly watched and criticized by everybody watching their content.
Of course, there are a lot of people that think otherwise and claim that you can't compare the often really well paid, easy job of a successful streamer with hard-working people that have to do a 9-5 job to pay the bills – and that's exactly when Kai Cenat entered the discussion.
Kai Cenat says streamers that think their job is hard are “idiots”
When asked about the matter during Shannon Sharpe's podcast, the Twitch streamer said:
Anybody who says streaming is harder than a 9-5 is an idiot.
When it comes to his own job, he mentioned:
I work so hard on my streams, it takes a lot of hard work, a lot of planning, you’ve gotta be in front of a camera for dozens of hours. The scale that I do it on, it’s hard.
He continued to say:
But harder than a 9-5? You’re talking about somebody that may not even want to be there. I love streaming. I think about it all the time. The average 9-5 worker don’t wanna be there.
He admitted that he never had a regular job starting his streaming career at a young age, but could still sympathize with anyone working their tails off in a blue-collar gig while the biggest part of their paycheck goes straight to bills and taking care of their children.
What is your opinion on the matter? Do you think that Kai Cenat got a point or is the job of a streamer really that hard?
