On one of his recent streams, Asmongold scrolled through his Feed on X and saw something that left him shocked.
Ragebait content is what seems to work best for Asmongold. People react to his clips and share them with others, though mostly not in a positive way. This time, a clip shows streamer Destiny react to Asmongold's bold claims directed towards Ireland and Europe as a whole.
Europe Needs To Get It Together?
In one of his recent streams, Asmongold encountered a clip that left him shocked. The tweet it was attached to explained that in Ireland, a teacher was fired and arrested for refusing to use gender-neutral pronouns for one of his students. This left the American truly enraged. He stated:
"I know America has problems. I know we have our issues. But, holy [moly] y'all gotta get your [stuff] together over there in Europe."
Though he does acknowledge America's own issues in this statement, it seems ironic, especially considering the context another streamer, Destiny, added to the conversation in his reaction.
Destiny's Reply – Debunking The News
After Asmongold's clip was shared in the streaming community, another streamer called Destiny reacted to it on his own stream, adding some context. According to Destiny, the account that shared the initial news about the teacher in Ireland is known to share slop. He explains:
"This is like one of the most slop accounts on all of X. I can't believe he just scrolls his recommended feed for news."
Later, Destiny then to read a comment under Asmongold's clip that puts the original tweet into context. While the comment agrees that it seems to be true that the teacher got fired, it also says:
"He was never arrested for it. The reason he keeps getting arrested is because he keeps trespassing onto the school grounds which is [...] weird."
Reuters confirms this statement. In their article, they state that even though the teacher claimed that he was fired for refusing to use different pronouns for a child, in reality however, his arrest was for trespassing.
Doubling Down Instead Of Double-Checking
During Asmongold's stream, one of his chatters asked him if the content of the tweet he read out is ever factual. His response was shocking. He stated:
"I don't know if it's a lie or not. I bet it's probably not."
