After Ironmouse surpassed Kai Cenat in September of 2024, becoming the most-subscribed Twitch streamer of the platform, the two had a friendly back and forth about it.

Kai Cenat vs. Ironmouse

Kai Cenat responded quickly, making clear that he and his fans are planning on getting the title back and when he started his Mafiathon 2 subathon in November, he immediately rose up to top of the all-time sub charts with over 700,000 subscribers.

Since then, a lot of users have wondered whether the VTuber would go for the title again, so in a recent interview Ironmouse made clear that it won’t happen.

"There's no way, bro."

In an interview with Smosh member Damien Haas on Anthony Padilla’s channel, Ironmouse was asked about Kai Cenat and the record. About the chance of claiming the title back she said:

Oh my god. Listen. Kai is an amazing entertainer, amazing streamer, astronomical. On a whole other level, he’s a really great guy. There is no way. There’s no way bro, let’s just be honest.

The VTuber explained that she does her annual subathon to entertain her community and raise money for the Immune Deficiency Foundation at the same time.

She went on, stating that the only thing she wants to beat is her previous score to raise more money for charity without thinking about any subscriber records at all.

What do you think about the friendly rivalry between Kai Cenat and Ironmouse? Who else could claim the Twitch throne?
