After Ironmouse left her agency VShojo for withholding $500.000 meant for charity, she raises double the amount after only two days of independence.

It's only been a few days since famous VTuber Ironmouse left the talent agency VShojo. Ironmouse collected over $500.000 meant for the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) in 2024. The agency was handling all of her finances at the time, but never paid IDF the promised sum. Furthermore, VShojo also owes Ironmouse a large, undisclosed sum of money.
This all lead to her leaving the agency and going independent. Now the first action she took was making things right and hosting another charity stream for IDF. And it turned out to be a great success. She posted a link to a new Tiltify campaign with the goal of raising $10.000 for the IDF. She surpassed the goal after only one hour of streaming and around the $700.000 milestone, Ironmouse posted on X to show her gratitude. It currently raised over $1 Million.
i dont really have words that can properly express how i feel. i feel like saying thank you to everyone is not enough. but thank you all so much for your kindness. my heart is so full it feels like its going to explode. you all are truly amazing. im gonna go cry now pic.twitter.com/SYuQ4EomHd

What Is The IDF?
The Immune Deficiency Foundation is pretty straightforward. Many people suffer from primary immunodeficiency (PI) – Disorders affecting the immune system, making it less effective at fighting infections. There are over 550 types of PI that affect an estimated 500,000 people in America. The IDF helps achieve an early accurate diagnosis, early treatment, and an improved quality of life for those affected.
Ironmouse herself suffers from common variable immunodeficiency (CVID), which means her immune system does not make antibodies to fight off infections or viruses. This is also the reason why the IDF means a lot to her and wants to support it so much, since she experienced the good they do first hand.
A New Beginning
When Ironmouse left VShojo, there were a lot of insecurities tied to the departure. For Ironmouse this meant venturing into uncharted territory again and hoping for the best. But she received lots of support from her community and other influencers. Since she set the donation goal for the IDF at $10.000, it is safe to assume that even she didn't think it was going to go as well as it did.
VShojo on the other hand is doing worse every day. More VTubers are leaving the agency, and it is highly unlikely that it will rise against the bad publicity. VTuber Kson even quit on stream and called the CEO of VShojo live to question him about the companies shady behavior and wrongdoings. She apparently has not been paid by the company since September 2024.
