Justice Still Exists: Streamer Won't Get His Dog Back After Abuse On Stream

Lionel Howse, known as Lildealy on the streaming platform Kick, finally faced consequences after repeatedly abusing his dog Peaches on stream. Following his arrest, he will not be allowed to get his dog back.

A few months ago we reported on the search for Lionel Howse, aka Lildealy. The authorities in Canada were looking for him because he abused his dog Peaches multiple times during his livestreams. Peaches deserved justice, and now it's finally here.

First He Abuses His Dog, Now He Wants Her Back

Howse actually had the audacity to try to regain custody of his female Labrador, Peaches. After being arrested, Peaches was taken out of his care, which was undeniably for the best.

The creator has already been charged with uttering threats against animals and willfully causing unnecessary pain, suffering, or injury to an animal. Yet he still thought he would stand a chance with his appeal.

According to reports from the Toronto Star, Howse's application was reviewed by the Ontario Animal Care Review Board, which rejected his appeal in a ruling from December 19.

The video evidence clearly showed multiple incidents of animal abuse, alongside a veterinarian that testified not in favor of Lildealy. Within this hearing it was also once again confirmed that the streamer's actions caused both psychological and physical harm to Peaches.

It Was Only A Part He Was Playing

And now we clap for the weakest defense. According to Lionel Howse, the abuse clearly shown on video was only a role he was playing to generate clicks. The claims that were made against him were only generated for effect and have no basis whatsoever.

He even showed a video clip that allegedly proved that Peaches was well cared for. The abuse on camera is how to care for an animal, apparently. Howse tried to persuade the Board that Peaches may at least be relocated to his parents in Newfoundland.

Gladly, this was also rejected by adjudicator Alisa Chaplick. Furthermore, Lildealy has to cover the total costs for Peache's care, which come up to a total of about $800.

If the former streamer gets convicted again, we will let you know. His latest court appearance had been scheduled for January 15. Up until now, there has been no information on whether it came to a conviction or not.

Are you glad Peaches will not be returned to him? Are you hoping the streamer will be convicted? Let us know in the comments!
