Police Catch Streamer After Abusing His Dog Live On Stream

After viewers reported him to the authorities, he tried to leave the country following his public abuse of his dog.

Streamer Lildealy triggered a police investigation after he threatened his own dog with death. When the matter became public, he decided to flee his home country before the authorities could apprehend him.

Unique, Yes... Uniquely Disgusting

If a streamer really wants to take off and play at the top, they have to stand out from the crowd and deliver content that hasn't been seen before. A unique selling point is probably one of the most decisive factors in whether someone becomes successful or not. However, if you choose the wrong “unique selling point,” everything can go very differently and, instead of being at the top of Twitch, you might suddenly find yourself on the run from a country.

Kick streamer Lildealy managed exactly that, because what he chose as a standout feature for his videos makes him one of the probably most disgusting people on the platform and that’s not easy considering he finds himself in the company of people like Johnny Somali there.

Lildealy, whose real name is Lionel Howse, thought it was a marketing masterstroke to torture his dog in his live streams. It's not that he made this up for his videos and then carried it out – Lildealy seems to be a person who treats his animal that way all the time.

Streamer Threatens To Kill His Dog Live On Stream

Although the streamer claims that his unique selling point is that during his streams he would hit, shout at, and spit on the phone through which he broadcasts his ramblings to the world – why people primarily watched his clips, however, was the shock caused by his treatment of the dog.

For Howse it seems completely normal to repeatedly hit the animal, hold it far too tightly, or even choke it, even when his own partner repeatedly asks him live on camera to leave it alone.

The alleged misbehavior of the animal, which he uses to justify his actions, is often provoked by him in the first place. After all, he feeds the dog questionable foods like ice cream and pizza.

In one clip you can see him lift the dog up, wrap his arm tightly around the animal’s neck and say directly into its ear:

I will kill you. Right here. I'm going to break your [...] neck right here.

He Travels To The USA For Money

When he wasn't behaving in this way as the most terrible human being, he stood out with other questionable actions, drank and smoked on his streams, and repeatedly begged for money.

And because of his money troubles he recently thought it would be a great idea to take part in Ice Poseidon's scavenger hunt – the very project for which XenaTheWitch was banned from Kick for 1,000 years after shooting at uninvolved passersby with a paintball gun.

When he traveled from Canada to the USA for that challenge, more and more people became aware of his streams and the awful things he had said and done there – especially regarding his dog and the threat to kill it on camera. Viewers then informed authorities and Lildealy learned during the scavenger hunt that he was being sought by the Canadian police on suspicion of animal cruelty.

It is proof of how important it is to report on such incidents and people and to draw attention to them, while outsiders often talk about giving these people “a platform” without understanding that it is only through critical reporting that the appropriate mechanisms can be set in motion at all.

Streamer Wants To Flee To The USA, But Canada Is Faster

Since streamers are rarely the kind of people who want to face the consequences of their actions, the Canadian decided to simply stay in the USA and continued begging his viewers for money – after all, a spontaneous hotel stay is anything but cheap. The viewers who followed his streams, however, did so not to fund his life on the run, but to find out where he was so they could pass that information on to the authorities.

Unfortunately, Howse actually managed to find a loophole in the system that should have allowed him to live long-term in the States: because some of his ancestors were Native American, he was permitted to cross the border and live in the USA – but to do that he first wanted to return to Canada where all his belongings were waiting for him.

However, the Canadian authorities were also waiting. Through reports about the streamer and many submissions from viewers, the police were able to gather enough incriminating material at the border to justify an arrest.

Shortly thereafter, an official statement read:

The Toronto Police is making the public aware of an arrest made in an Animal Cruelty investigation.
It is alleged that: the accused was posting videos of himself uttering threats to his dog, the accused posted another video where a woman can be heard telling the accused to stop hitting the dog as the dog is crying in the background.

About the investigative success, they also stated:

On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, Lionel Howse, 25, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
Uttering Threats/Animal or Birds
Willfully Cause Unnecessary Pain/Suffering or Injury to an Animal or Bird

Furthermore, the police asked the public to submit additional evidence.

The hearing has meanwhile already taken place, but the verdict is still pending at this time.

One can only hope that if Howse ever streams again, his only unique selling point will be that he does so directly from his prison cell or at least far, far away from any animals.
