Singer and Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa is currently struggling with two different health issues.
Although JoJo Siwa’s career is going well, she isn’t doing that great health-wise. Between releasing a new EP and preparing for an upcoming tour, the 23-year-old singer suffered an eye infection and a concussion.

On June 1, pop star and Dance Moms sensation JoJo Siwa updated her fans on her health via Instagram. The video showed her wearing a black eye patch, which worried many people in her community. The reason for her unusual appearance was a "gnarly" eye infection. JoJo shared pictures of herself without the patch, revealing that one of her eyes was completely swollen.
Apart from her eye, JoJo's current health status is also concerning. She revealed that she recently suffered a concussion after falling off her golf cart on May 25. The wheel suddenly locked, causing her to lose control of the cart and fall to the ground, hitting her head in the process.
After visiting three different doctors to receive treatment they told her that the concussion and the infection are unrelated. She reassured her fans, saying: "I'm gonna be fine. It's just going to take a while. As unlucky as I am that it happened, I am very very lucky with how I came out of it."
Glitter Bows As A Treatment
JoJo is currently focusing on her recovery, but she also uses her free time to promote her "JoJo Bows," colorful hair accessories covered in glitter. Her doctor advised her to engage in "an hour of light activity" per day, so she decided to use that time to take pictures of her bows. She even took off her eyepatch to take them, which was difficult because her eye is very light sensitive.
In the caption of her post, she states:
It's definitely a bit early to be going back into everything, and I have to be very careful of not being 100% recovered... but the Greatest saying in Hollywood, which I'm realizing to be true, the show must go on.
Apart from her health issues, her private life is going quite well. It seems like karma didn't punish her that severely. Last month, she celebrated her first anniversary with her boyfriend, Chris Hughes. On Instagram, she expressed her love for him, saying:
The greatest gift I’ve ever received in life was 365 days ago. What a beautiful year it’s been with you by my side. I wake up with more love every day, more gratitude every day, and a bigger smile on my face every day. From every phone call, to every plane ride, to every memory made together in the last year, I’m grateful for every single one and when I look back, I just smile to myself peacefully feeling so complete. Happy one year to the one I love, my bestest friend.
After a lot of relationship drama, it seems like she’s finally happy.
