Nature is relentless and dangerous. A Kick streamer had to experience this first hand.

Sometimes the greatest adventures are the ones you don't plan. For Kick streamer CaptainGee, a walk through New York City ended with an ambulance ride.
One finger, one bite, big drama
CaptainGee, known for his live adventures on Kick, has over 13,000 followers – and now also a cool story about a painful encounter. In November 2024, he met his match in New York: a squirrel.
It all started innocently enough: The “friendly” squirrel was sitting by the side of the road, CaptainGee held out his hand – and the little creature took a bite. It went straight for his fingertip, a little blood, a big shock. “It bit me!”, he exclaimed, while his chat watched live and rushed to offer advice: get a rabies shot, immediately.

Fortunately, an ambulance was nearby, and CaptainGee received immediate treatment. At that moment, he had a realization that was probably one of a kind: After spending a month in Africa surrounded by lions, cheetahs, and zebras, nothing happened. And then, a squirrel "nearly killed" him.
Luckily, the drama had a happy ending. According to New York’s health department, squirrels rarely transmit rabies. But if one ever starts frothing at the mouth in the street, we now know what to do.
For anyone looking for inspiration for their own gaming fun after this story: In the indie game Squirrel with a Gun, you can take on the role of a killer rodent seeking revenge on humanity. Maybe this is the perfect game for CaptainGee – at least his finger would stay intact.
