Streamer Ludwig set himself a goal: Reaching Gold in MCSR Ranked, a Minecraft Speedrunning Mod with ranks. When he started to really struggle, his viewers did something amazing.
The popular streamer Ludwig challenged himself to prove that he is a good gamer, and his first step in order to do so was to reach Gold in MCSR – a Minecraft Speedrunning Mod. When all hope seemed to be lost, his chat came through with a truly heartwarming gesture.
Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures
Ludwig frequently talks about the topic of being a good gamer, whether it is about his friends or himself. He was previously seen hiring pro gamers to trick his friends and chat into believing it was actually him playing. But now he wants to prove that he doesn't need pros to do the job for him.
At the end of December 2025, the YouTuber started his journey to get to Gold in MCSR. Unfortunately, streaming things like that to a live audience often inspires people to stream snipe, which made it a lot harder for him. But even creating a new account to play on did not exactly help the way he would have hoped it would. Defeated, at one point during his journey he then called out for motivation from his chat:
"If anyone makes me a Minecraft parody song throw it in chat, Tim will play it. Let me hear you sing through your [bad] mic with your mom next door, quietly. No AI, I want it to sound horrible."
And even though his chat likes to sometimes bully him a little during his streams, they delivered.
(Motivational) Minecraft Parody Songs
The chat immediately reacted. Over time, Ludwig collected around 600 Minecraft parody songs from his chat that he played live on stream, some of them more motivational than others, and despite the prompt not all about Minecraft.
His chat creating parody songs that he can listen to during a stream is actually something that has happened before: In September of 2021 Ludwig streamed himself playing Jump King, a notoriously hard game that forces you to restart over and over again. This was the last time his chat created songs specifically for his streams – until now. When he asked his chat for songs, he even stated:
"I haven't asked for this in four years, it's time to run it back."
With lyrics like How can he be reaching Gold rank? He's a LOLCOW or Coal will always be your home, your triple digit elo, what a joke blasting through his headphones during every attempt, the 30-year-old finally managed to actually reach gold in MCSR. In a new YouTube Video on his second channel Ludwin he now decided to go through all submissions and pick his 10 favorites, really showing his appreciation for his chat's commitment to the bit.
