Whether alongside Hutch, NickMercs, Tfue, Cloakzy or Gingy, The BurntPeanut continues to dominate Arc Raiders, and his success has not slowed down. On the contrary.

The BurntPeanut Pushes Back Against View-Botting Claims

Recently, the streamer reached peak viewership of over 90,000 concurrent viewers on YouTube, and with numbers like these, the debate surrounding view botting has naturally resurfaced.

In a recent stream, The BurntPeanut addressed the allegations of view botting. He teased that he might get a little unhumble, but went through with it anyway:

"I call view-botting the losers topic."

He elaborated that people can spin the narrative any way they want and accuse him of view botting no matter what. In his view, the topic is "at its base cope", because there is no way to definitively prove if someone is view botting. He proclaimed that the whole argument is based around jealousy and not facts. However, Peanut still saw himself forced to address the accusations:

"We switch to Brazilian servers, we switch to European servers, we switch to a server called "Oceanic". I don't even know what [...] that means. [...] I can't find a single [person] on any continent of this planet, that doesn't know who we are! And you say I'm view-botting?!"

Naturally, the statement went viral, and even though it did not debunk all view botting claims, other major content creators caught wind of the situation and weighed in.

Fellow Streamers Weigh In On The View-Botting Debate

Popular streamers were quick to give their opinion on the topic. TimTheTatman made a video addressing the allegations against Peanut. In his view, these accusations are a symptom of Peanut’s recent success:

"When you get to the top, when you get in that position, the next thing that follows is people are gonna start hating you, and that's where we are with Peanut right now."

When xQc reacted to the post on X, he checked the replies and came across a chart that was meant to prove that The BurntPeanut was view botting. However, in his opinion, the chart did not prove anything.

Another prominent voice weighing in was Asmongold, who also shared his take on the situation. According to him, it is in fact possible to prove whether someone is view botting, but he fundamentally agreed with Peanut that the entire argument is rooted in jealousy:

"Once you understand that most hate on the internet is actually self-therapy in disguise, everything else begins to make a lot more sense.

At the end of the day, there is no definitive answer as to whether The BurntPeanut is view botting or not, even if Asmongold might see that differently. With increasing success and popularity, there always comes a certain level of controversy and scrutiny. Nonetheless, anyone watching the streams can see that Peanut made a compelling argument, especially when considering how his status as a streamer in Arc Raiders has often saved him in-game, while at the same time making him a target and getting him killed just as often.
