A travel YouTuber who spent years documenting his cycling adventures around the world has died after being struck by a truck.
South Korean travel YouTuber Cho Jin-woo, better known online as JinsTravel, has died after being involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident while cycling through Bolivia.
According to The Korea Herald and local media reports, the accident happened at approximately 9:30 a.m. on November 4 in El Alto, where Cho was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a large cargo truck.
Witnesses reportedly rushed to help the 33-year-old cyclist following the collision. However, his injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver allegedly fled following the incident but was apprehended by police several hours later. The driver allegedly told investigators that he had not seen the bicycle. A breathalyzer test also reportedly returned a negative result for alcohol. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
