Epic Games has rolled out a significant update for Fortnite Reload on August 27, bringing a fresh shake-up to the loot pool and some adjustments to the Storm mechanics. Here’s a detailed look at what’s new and what’s been removed.

Vaulted Weapons

Several weapons have been vaulted in this update, meaning they are no longer available in the game mode. The items removed include:

  • Pistol
  • Mammoth Pistol
  • Ranger Shotgun
  • Heavy Shotgun
  • Lever Action Rifle
  • Hammer Assault Rifle
  • Twin Mag SMG

Unvaulted Weapons

To balance the removal of these items, Epic Games has brought back several older weapons. The unvaulted items are:

  • Combat Pistol
  • Hand Cannon
  • Thunder Shotgun
  • Hunting Rifle
  • Combat Assault Rifle
  • Combat SMG
  • Shield Keg

Storm Changes

On top of the loot pool shake-up, Epic’s also tweaked the Storm mechanics. Now, the last two Storm Circles start quicker and shrink slower over a longer distance, so you’ve got less time to get your act together before the final showdown. Plus, Storm Sickness kicks in faster, so hanging out in the Storm is gonna be even tougher.

These changes are all about keeping the game fresh and exciting. Whether you’re stoked about the unvaulted weapons or need to rethink your strategy with the faster Storm Sickness, this update is sure to keep Fortnite Reload as thrilling as ever.
