Hideki Kamiya is still waiting for "P.T." to be realized and would even take development into his own hands.

In 2014, the horror game P.T. caused quite a stir in the gaming world – even though it was really just a playable demo, a so-called "playable teaser", hence the name. A full version of the game never appeared, which continues to disappoint many fans to this day.
Recently, Hideki Kamiya, lead developer of Bayonetta, publicly challenged the creator of P.T., Hideo Kojima.
"If Kojima doesn’t do [a new P.T.], maybe I’ll give it a go." ~ Hideki Kamiya
However, it remains unclear whether this will actually result in a new project or whether it will remain a provocative statement.
Bayonetta Developer Talks About "P.T."

Even almost ten years after the release of P.T., fans are still hoping for a full release of the horror game.
Originally, the game was supposed to be a collaboration between Kojima and Konami and be released as a new installment in the Silent Hill series. However, the project was ultimately shelved due to internal differences between Kojima and Konami – much to the disappointment of many fans.
According to IGN, Hideki Kamiya recently commented on his ongoing hope for a new P.T.-style game.
"If it’s impossible to resurrect P.T., Kojima should make a new game in the same style."
He then wrote:
"If Kojima doesn’t do it, maybe I’ll give it a go."
However, his version would probably be quite different – he would even change the genre. Kamiya openly admitted: "I hate horror though, so it wouldn’t be horror." A spiritual successor to P.T., but without the horror. What exactly that might mean, and whether it would still be the game that many people want, remains to be seen.
Kojima's "OD – Knock" Might Be It
Even though no new P.T. from Kojima Productions has been announced yet, they recently released a teaser trailer for their new horror game OD – Knock.
However, due to several references to P.T., fans suspect a connection between the upcoming game and the legendary but never completed "playable teaser".
These hints raise hopes that Hideo Kojima will still release a game in the style of P.T., or at least revive its atmosphere.
What do you think? Is OD – Knock the next P.T.? Let us know in the comments!
