Hazelight Studios has not disappointed their player base so far, and it does not seem like that will change anytime soon with this new release.

Hazelight Studios, the award-winning team that brought us It Takes Two, has taken the spotlight in the Game Awards for yet another year to announce their new upcoming game. Let's take a look at it.
Hazelight Studios' new game: Split Fiction
After years of silence, Hazelight Studios surprised everyone with the first trailer for their upcoming game, Split Fiction, that delves into the story and the gameplay.
Together with one of your friends, you slip into the roles of Mio and Zoe, two aspiring young authors that are invited to a big publishing project.
The company aims to steal their works, however, and demands that they enter simulations of their own stories' worlds. Through various circumstances, the two of them end up in the same simulation despite being strangers.
The only problem is that one of them is a sci-fi author, while the other writes fantasy... You can probably already guess how messy things get.
You switch between sci-fi themed and fantasy themed areas, each level with its own unique gameplay mechanics so that the players never get bored.
One moment, you're running from orcs and taming dragons, in the next you're riding a hoverboard and wear robotic armor with in-built firearms.
This action-adventure game looks incredibly fun and we don't even have to wait that long for its release – unlike many of the other games that were announced.
The confirmed release date will be March 6, 2025, and the game can already be pre-ordered on Steam for $49.99!
