Dragon's Dogma 2: Players Discover Hidden Cut Scene, But Only If You're Nice To Your Pawns

In Dragon's Dogma 2, the choices you make not only shape your destiny, but also the bond you form with your main Pawn. And if you have a really great bond with your main Pawn, you can unlock a secret cut scene.

There are several endings you can reach in Dragon's Dogma 2. And if you play your cards right, you can also get an extra cutscene. This cutscene is not based on a single decision, but on how you have treated your main Pawn.

The Importance of Affection: How To Unveil The Extra Ending

As with most other characters in the game, there is an affection system between you and your main Pawn. Their attitude towards you depends on how well, or badly, you treat them.

If you have increased your main Pawn's affection enough, you will even get to see an emotional cutscene at the end that you would otherwise miss.

If you don't mind spoilers, you can watch the additional ending here:

There are several ways to increase the affinity of your main pawn. You will probably need a favorability of around 620 to enter the special state. Here is how you can increase your affinity:

  • Talk with your pawn, each time +2
  • Highfive with your pawn, each time +5
  • Go to the hot spring, each time +10
  • Take your pawn to the barber, each time +50
  • Main pawn death (Respawn at Riftstone) favorability will -25 each time
  • Tested Sphinx quest gives +20

You will notice that your pawn will blush and look at you randomly if the affinity is high enough.
