Indie RPG Chained Echoes is getting a DLC by the name of Ashes of Elrant. Here's what we know.
Developer Matthias Linda has announced that his game Chained Echoes will receive a big DLC by the end of next year. Fans of the game are already really excited, and we, too, cannot wait to see what it brings us.

Chained Echoes is an indie retro RPG inspired by many Japanese RPGs like Chrono Trigger. It was first released only two years ago, by the end of 2022, and was met with widespread success.
Matthias Linda was the sole developer of the game, but in 2016, he formed the small game studio Umami Tiger. With his new team of devs, Linda has announced their upcoming DLC for Chained Echoes: Ashes of Elrant.
The DLC will expand greatly on the game's map and story, adding features such as new unique areas, 40 new monsters and bosses, 15 new tracks from composer Eddie Marianukroh, and a new playable character by the name of "The White Wolf."
And, most importantly, they teased a fishing minigame! What more could you ask for?
The DLC is set to release in the second half of 2025 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. So keep your eyes peeled!
