inZOI Is Coming to Mac and PS5 – But What About Xbox?

After months in Early Access, Krafton’s life sim inZOI is finally plotting its next big move – a leap to new platforms.

On paper, inZOI has everything it needs to stand out in the life sim genre: a robust character creator, sleek build mode, and modern visuals. It’s stylish, ambitious, and clearly built with care – but in Early Access, it’s still more of a beautiful shell than a fully living world.

inZOI Heads To PS5 In 2026 – Mac Version Launches Next Week

Krafton has announced that inZOI will arrive on PlayStation 5 in the first half of 2026, with optimizations for console controls and performance while keeping the full feature set of the PC version. Given how long the game will have been in Early Access by then, PS5 players can expect a more polished experience than the one PC players encountered at launch. An Xbox release, however, is still unconfirmed – a potential disappointment for a large part of the life sim audience.

inZOI COMING TO PS5 IN 2026 We're excited to announce that inZOI is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 (PS5) in 2026. (An Xbox release is also under consideration, but not yet confirmed.)

Mac players won’t have to wait nearly as long. On August 20, the game will hit macOS – launching alongside the "Island Paradise" update. The only catch: you’ll need an M2 (or newer) Apple device with at least 16 GB of unified memory. It’s still an Early Access title, and its core systems aren’t all there yet – social interactions remain stiff, and activities often feel mechanical – but recent updates have started to flesh things out. The addition of modding tools, expanded relationship features, and more organic world events have given inZOI a welcome boost of personality.

If Krafton keeps building on these foundations, the PS5 version could land with the kind of depth and flow that’s still missing today. Until then, inZOI remains one to watch – especially if you’re more into building dream homes than living in them.
