Nintendo is once again stepping into unexpected territory with its latest creation. Known for their gaming consoles and iconic titles, the company has now introduced something a little different – a unique alarm clock. This new gadget promises to make waking up a more engaging experience, adding a touch of Nintendo magic to your mornings. Fans are already buzzing with excitement, and its release is sure to spark curiosity. Here's everything you need to know about the latest Nintendo invention.

Wake Up With Nintendo Sounds

The Nintendo Alarmo is far more than just a typical alarm clock. It brings the magic of Nintendo directly to your bedside with a host of interactive features. The clock plays soundtracks from iconic games like Super Mario Odyssey, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Splatoon 3. Each alarm comes with its own unique set of sound effects, giving you an immersive start to your day. Now we can wake up to the gunfire and grenades from Splatoon 3. Well... okay, let’s skip that one.

The real kicker? The clock syncs with your movements – when you finally get out of bed, a triumphant fanfare plays to mark your victory. With additional "sleepy sounds" and the ability to track your sleep patterns, this gadget ensures that your morning is anything but ordinary. Plus, as the clock connects to the internet, you can expect regular updates with new sounds from even more Nintendo games. So now Nintendo knows when I'm awake and asleep, linking their IP with my dopamine regulation. You know, George Orwell could... so if Black Mirror... forget it, that’s already punchline enough.

Where To Find The Alarmo

Nintendo has teamed up with Universal Studios Japan to offer Alarmo rentals at seven official hotels, starting February 3. Guests can rent the clock at check-in and set it up in their rooms. The participating hotels are Oriental Hotel, The Singulari Hotel, The Park Front Hotel, Kintetsu Universal City, Keihan Universal Tower, Universal Port, and Universal Port Vita.

This unique gadget has quickly gained popularity, especially in Japan, where it became so popular that it had to be sold through a lottery system. Thankfully, now it's available for wider release. This shouldn't be a surprise, considering you guys literally bought unfolded cardboard from Nintendo back in 2018!

In March 2025, you’ll be able to find the Nintendo Alarmo at various retailers, such as Target, Walmart, and GameStop. While the alarm clock is still up for grabs on Nintendo's official website for a select group of members, its general availability means that fans all over the world will finally get their chance to wake up to the sound of their favorite Nintendo games. Or you could just record Nintendo sounds and set them as alarm tones on your cellphone... but then you'd probably be waking up in a cell with no phone.

Are you planning to buy the clock? Which Nintendo sound would you like to wake up to? Tell us in the comments!
