Steam Users Outraged Over $1000 Call Of Duty Bundle

Steam users recently stumbled upon the ultimate Call of Duty bundle, encompassing all the games in the series. However, the hefty price tag attached to this bundle has left many feeling somewhat insulted.

Steam usually offers huge discounts on game bundles, often cutting prices by as much as 50%. However, when it comes to this extensive Call of Duty collection, the discounts have been surprisingly meager, with only a 10% reduction.

Steam's Lack Of Discounts on Call of Duty Collection Disappoints Gamers

This modest price drop brings the bundle down to just under $1,000, at $962, and people are not happy. One Reddit user stated "10% is an insult at this point."

Despite Steam's wide range of Call of Duty titles, many older ones lack active online servers, limiting gameplay to Zombies or story modes. This absence of multiplayer functionality has raised doubts about the bundle's value, particularly since each game still commands a premium price of $60.

The community's reaction has been overwhelmingly negative, with numerous users expressing frustration on Reddit about the steep prices for decade-old games. "They are still selling a 12 year old game with no servers at the full $60 price," another Reddit user said. While this bundle might appeal to those aiming to complete their Call of Duty collection or who already own several titles, for the average gamer, the high price tag and minimal discount make it a tough sell.
