The streamer Tigz is the first person in the world to officially Escape from Tarkov. After countless attempts on the new Terminal map, he actually reached the Zubr boat and left the destroyed city of Norvinsk. Tigz has thus achieved something that the community long considered a myth. The final escape, the actual goal of the game, was often ridiculed and considered unattainable. But since the 1.0 update, it has become clear that it is indeed possible. However, reaching the goal requires a lot of time and perseverance.

The First True Escape

Escape from Tarkov is no ordinary shooter. It is a hardcore extraction game in which every raid is a risk. Weapons, equipment, and loot are valuable because every mistake can cost you everything. With version 1.0 and the Terminal map, developer Battlestate Games has built in a real endgame. The conditions are tough, and it takes a while to get there, but that's exactly what the community loves so much about the game. Tigz's success shows that the final escape from Tarkov actually exists and is achievable.

A Victory For All Loyal Tarkov Fans

The fact that this moment took place live on Twitch and was not only confirmed by developers but also watched live makes it even more significant. The first successful escape is more than just an achievement in the game. It's something of a mascot for everyone who has lost more equipment in Tarkov than they care to admit, yet still jumps back in every time as if it never hurt.
