Naughty Dog has officially announced The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered for PC.

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, a revitalized edition of the original game, was released for PlayStation 4 in June 2020 and first appeared on PlayStation 5 on January 19, 2024. The remastered version brought a lot of improvements, including upgraded visuals and performance enhancements. Now, the highly anticipated PC version has been confirmed with a release date of April 3, 2025.
A collaboration of industry veterans
The PC port is being developed through a partnership between two renowned studios: Nixxes Software and Iron Galaxy Studios. Nixxes, known for delivering polished PC adaptations of major titles such as the Horizon series, is bringing its expertise to ensure a seamless transition. Similarly, Iron Galaxy Studios, with its experience in handling challenging ports, is contributing to what we hope will be a high-quality PC edition.
While details on specific PC features remain under wraps, players can expect the same improvements seen in the PS5 version, such as improved graphics, faster loading times, and possibly even additional customization options tailored to PC hardware. Given the studios involved, expectations are high for optimization and performance.
The game will be available through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
