The second story DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will drop in just a week, and I am more than ready!

IT IS TIIIIIMEEEE, my fellow medieval friends! The second of the three Kingdom Come: Deliverance II DLCs will be released in just a week. My fingers are twitching, and honestly, I’m already halfway convinced to start a fresh run.
Legacy of the Forge: A Smithy To Call Your Own
The expansion goes by the name Legacy of the Forge, and it drops on September 9, 2025. If you grabbed the Expansion Pass or the Gold Edition, you’re automatically in.
So, what’s in it? In short: Henry finally gets his own forge in Kuttenberg – a full-on blacksmithing empire you can rebuild, decorate, and call your home. Think of it as your medieval IKEA housing project, where you’ll be hammering out swords, armor, and probably the occasional "weird request" from the locals. The customization system is no joke: Over 100 million possible combinations for your forge and quarters. Do you want a cozy smithy with rustic vibes or a flex-worthy iron palace? Your call.

The heart of the story looks backward: your father Martin steps into the spotlight, with the narrative digging into his past as a blacksmith and the, you know, legacy (of the forge) he left behind. Expect a mix of family story, guild politics, and the satisfaction of banging glowing metal into deadly masterpieces while whistling our favorite tune. Oh, and yes – there are new blueprints, commissions, and quests to keep your hammer arm busy.
I love that we have a building detour just like in KCD 1 with the rebuilding of Pribyslavice, but with the addition of real housing – something many players (including me) missed in the first game. Kuttenberg Forge, here I come!
