Our Weekend's Finest Game: Monster Hunter Wilds

Slaying Monsters, exploring a wide world, crafting your own gear & looking cool while doing so. That is the average Monster Hunter experience summed up. If you're up for action, and you're a fan of big battles, this might be the perfect time to try it out. Monster Hunter Wilds finally got their Title Update 2, adding the monsters Lagiacrus and Seregios into the game, as well as upcoming events and challenges.

Monster Hunter Wilds is the easiest way to jump into the series. It’s faster, smoother, and way less grindy than before. You don’t have to stress about gear or prep anymore, and while it’s not super challenging, the hunts feel amazing and the characters actually make the story fun for once.

Our Weekend's Finest Indie: Vampire Therapist

Vampire Therapist 2

Okay, hear me out: you're a therapist… for vampires. And no, it’s not a joke. In Vampire Therapist, you sit down with immortal beings who’ve lived through centuries of heartbreak, delusion, existential dread.

It’s part visual novel, part emotional deep-dive, and honestly? Way more relatable than it has any right to be. You’re using real cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help these vampires work through their issues, because eternity is a long time to carry trauma around.

And it’s not preachy or textbook-y either. It just… works. You actually feel like you’re helping them. And somehow, along the way, you end up thinking about your own baggage, too.

If you like narrative games with heart and a little bite, this one’s absolutely worth it.

And that's all for this week! Thank you for reading The Weekend's Finest and come back next Friday for more! Also let us know what games YOU think are worthy to be EarlyGame's Weekend's Finest for our next issue!
