TriggerHeart EXELICA Enhanced is coming to Switch
TriggerHeart EXELICA Enhanced has been announced to release for Switch on April 24, 2025. Sadly, developer Cosmo Machia has made it clear that it will only be released in Japan for the time being.
But considering that the original TriggerHeart EXELICA is available on various platforms with different language supports, such as Steam, there is a high chance that there will be a global release at some point in time too.
The physical edition will cost 4,950 yen, while buying only the digital edition will be priced at 4,500 yen.
There will also be a big bundle available, including TriggerHeart EXELICA, TriggerHeart EXELICA Enhanced, a two-disk Soundtrack CD, an "Enhanced" player guidebook, and a "special" box.
TriggerHeart EXELICA Enhanced acts as a port of the PlayStation 2 title of the same name that was first released on March 26, 2009. It adds a bunch of new elements to the original, such as:
- adding Faintear as a new playable character
- a new opening movie by P.A.WORKS with a theme song by Ayane
- "Enhanced" story mode with high resolution CGs
- balance adjustments to existing characters
... and so much more! So be prepared for any news regarding a global release, we will make sure to keep you updated.
