Ever wished you could play Baldur's Gate 3 without the turn-based combat? Or are you looking for a fun way to torture yourself? Say no more!

Yes, Baldur's Gate 3 is a fantastic game. But its turn-based combat style is not for everyone. And while I may judge you a bit for that, I will also show you a way to enjoy the combat. Provided you are absolutely stress-resistant and like to do hectic things. Or you want to feel again. Anger, for example.
Baldur's Gate 3, but very, very stressful
Since Larian opened up their mod toolkit with patch 7, the possibilities seem endless. Not only do we have tons of cosmetic makeover options or can roam the barren areas of Avernus, but we can also experience real-time combat thanks to a mod by tinybike.
This mod allows for a real-time combat experience where the action is uninterrupted. As you'd expect from real-time combat, the character is constantly moving, attacking, and repositioning. They could also heal, even if they were being shot by an arrow at the same time.
Take a look at the real-time combat here:
While the original combat is a bit slow, this is the exact opposite. And in the preview video, there is only one player character - imagine having to manage 4 characters in full simultaneity.
Even if the whole combat mechanic is still quite unbalanced and a bit comical, this mod is an incredible achievement and part of the replayability of the game. Modder tinybike is still working on it, and I'm sure it will be an amazing mod that can open doors for players who were put off by the game's combat system.
