Vegan Patriot Hits An Elderly Man With Her Car And Then Flees The Scene

An influencer who calls herself Vegan Patriot and lives in the US already sounds pretty bizarre on its own. After all, you first have to pull off the balancing act between loving animals and loving your country when you live in a place that lays claim to one of the highest rates of meat consumption in the world and has, among other things, managed to drive animals like the bison to the brink of extinction.

But Shea Browne is known for far more than this supposedly paradoxical username, and most of it is anything but honorable.

The Vegan Patriot – A Danger On The Road?

She first gained wider attention in May 2024, when a livestream went viral in which she hit a pedestrian while driving. The case was picked up by different outlets, as the influencer was allegedly under the influence of marijuana during that specific livestream and was also interacting with her phone while driving. Shortly afterward, an impact could be heard, after which she apparently realized that she had hit a woman.

Since then, many no longer see Vegan Patriot as just an eccentric IRL streamer, but as an example of how dangerous livestreaming in everyday life can become, especially when it is combined with driving, distraction, and possible drug use.

Dog Relieves Herself On Food Delivery

While this incident put her in the spotlight, criticism also grew over her treatment of her dog, Abigail. The dog is not only her constant companion in her streams and on every car ride; according to critics, the female Chihuahua has regularly had to sit in an overheated car without enough fresh water, has been exposed to secondhand smoke in the poorly ventilated vehicle, and is said to already be showing various signs of neglect.

The best-known clip involving Abigail, however, is probably the one showing the dog jumping onto the back seat of the car, climbing onto customers’ food orders that had been placed there, and relieving herself on them. Her response at the time, when her chat confronted her about it, was: “It’s all safely packaged."

Now Browne is once again drawing attention because of her driving skills. In recent clips and posts, it is claimed that she hit an elderly man and his car outside a retirement home

Influencer Hits Elderly Man’s Car And Then Flees

Although both Browne and her critics are mainly relying on the audio file from the stream in question, the situation seems fairly clear to most people.

At the beginning of the stream, Browne explains that she has a food delivery for a retirement home and that these can be quite time-consuming, since you have to find the right person. To save time, she says she would stop in an accessible parking space. An elderly man can then be heard addressing the streamer and pointing out that she is not allowed to simply park there.

This leads to an argument between the two, during which Browne first claims that she has the relevant permit and is therefore allowed to park her car there, while the man accuses her of taking the space away from people who truly depend on it.

Between Verbal Abuse And A Hit-And-Run

At some point, Browne even insults him, calling him a “privileged old man” and saying that his behavior is the reason he lives alone in a retirement home without any visitors.

When the man refuses to just let her get away with it, she screams at him and tells him to get away from her car. Shortly afterward, her engine can be heard revving. The man then says that she has just hit his car, to which she responds, “You deserved that!” before driving away.

Although Browne later insisted on her innocence in another stream, her critics are convinced that she documented her own hit-and-run offense in this livestream.

Whether this will still have legal consequences for Browne remains to be seen. But anyone who loves America so much that they call themselves a patriot will surely also have plenty of fun with the legal system and the sometimes insane court proceedings over there.
