In an incredible nail-biter of a game, Liquid lost after enemy minions destroyed their nexus!

League of Legends is one of the most successful games in history, partly due to its competitive nature.

The game also has the biggest esport scene, with Riot Games dumping millions of dollars into official events every year. The LCS is one of the biggest leagues, and is mainly made up of teams from Western regions.

This year's LCS final saw a battle between Team Liquid and FlyQuest. And there was a lot on the line, with the winner guaranteed a spot at the world championship.

Insane Finale Ends Unexpectedly

The face off between Team Liquid and FlyQuest took the teams to game 4.

Team Liquid actually managed to win the final team fight, after which they stormed the enemy base in an attempt to quickly finish the game. They were well aware that the clock was ticking, since the enemy minions were already at their nexus.

In an incredible climax, the minions in Team Liquid's base, managed to bring the championship to a close, with FlyQuest as the winner, for the first time in LCS history.
