The contract of the former producer was allegedly manipulated so the YouTuber wouldn't have to pay for overhours.

A former producer of MrBeast sues him for not paying the overtime hours she put in while working for the YouTuber.
While MrBeast seems to be busy creating important content for YouTube by "crashing an Lamborghini into duct tape" or "giving $100k to the winner of a 50 yard dash", there are a few lawsuits incoming to get a fair share of that money.
On November 18, Brittany Carter, a former MrBeast producer filed a lawsuit against the YouTuber.
According to the court documents, it is "to recover unpaid wages, overtime, compensatory damages, liquidated damages, and attorney’s fees from Defendant for violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the North Carolina Wage and Hour Act".

Carter moved to Greenville in North Carolina to work 75 hours a week for MrBeast. According to the Fair Labor Standards Act, she was eligible for overtime pay but allegedly wasn’t compensated by the YouTuber for her extra working hours.
She was paid 10k a month and got the apartment in NC from MrBeast, but was asked to respond to calls and messages “any time of day on all days of the week".
By the way, that's around $30 an hour – which is an almost okay payment, but nothing compared to the fact that this job came with absolutely no work-life-balance at all.
The former employee alleges they were classified as an independent contractor, even though they were paid $10,000 a month, given employee housing, and worked "70 to 75 hours per week." pic.twitter.com/ZFq7MdQkvy

Carter says she was hired as a full-time producer, but MrBeast “misclassified” her on the contract as an independent contractor to avoid paying her overtime.
Together with her lawyer, Carter now goes to court to claim the money she is entitled to from MrBeast.
What's your opinion on all this? Do you think the lawsuit against Mr Beast could be successful?
