The Arcane season 2 trailer finally dropped and it looks amazing!
Riot Games and Netflix landed one of the biggest smash hits of all time with Arcane, the show based on League of Legends' lore.
The animation was done by Fortiche studio, who revolutionized the medium with their signature 2D on 3D animation style, which looks breathtaking.
In November, Arcane is coming back with its second season!
“Watch It All Burn”
Arcane season 2 will take place immediately after the events of the season 1 finale. In the trailer, it looks as though Piltover and Zaun are gearing up for an all-out civil war, led by our main characters.
An interesting reveal is that Sevika actually seems to side with Jinx, since she tells her:
Top-side is the real enemy. You have the chance to rally the undercity together. You're a symbol.
Caitlyn and Vi also seem to be ready for a confrontation with the undercity, supported by Ekko.
One particular detail in the trailer reveals a character we haven't seen in Arcane before, not like this anyway.
Even though it's only speculation, I want to issue a spoiler warning, because this theory might be true.
It has been teased in the last season, and it is briefly shown in the trailer, that Warwick will make his debut in the show. There has been a lot of speculation on whom the mutated wolf might be, and many are saying that it's actually Vander.
The theory suggests that Singed used shimmer to mutate Vanderinto a monster, but we can't know for sure.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that Arcane coming back might be the Netflix highlight of 2024, and I hope season 2 will be as much of a banger as season 1 was.
