With the hotly anticipated release of The Penguin, Matt Reeves' Batman universe continues to grow.

With an anticipated success in the pipeline, Reeves has now confirmed that he is also working on another Batman spinoff show.

The Batman Spinoff Show Universe

While talking to The Direct, Matt Reeves was asked about the Arkham Asylum series, which was rumored to be cancelled. They asked whether the new character Sofia Falcone was inspired by unused elements of the Arkham Asylum series.

Reeves replied:

Her ideas and the story elements that relate to [Sofia Falcone], those are all new ideas for her and have nothing to do with the other series that we’re continuing to do.

So it is unclear what this other spinoff series is, or will be about, but we can be sure that they are cooking something. This could mean that the Arkham Asylum show is still in development or that we could potentially see a show focused on another character, for example Harvey Dent.

What do you think? What could Matt Reeves be hinting at here?
