Uwe Boll is back, and this time he’s bringing a Dark Knight of his own – prepare for the most controversial film of the year!

Truly the worst of the worst, the undisputed champion of trash, is none other than the legendary Uwe Boll. Uwe Boll doesn’t just win Razzie Awards –no, sir. He wins the Worst Career Achievement Razzie Award by being called Germany’s answer to Ed Wood. Sometimes, he even tries his hand at acting. And to ensure he doesn’t fail, he chooses the role of Uwe Boll himself. And you guessed it – even then, he gets a Razzie nomination. Now, his newest project has a very familiar name and a formerly well-known actor. Here’s everything you don’t need to know, and trust me, you’ll want to know, about Uwe Boll and his latest film.
The German Troublemaker
Ever wondered why movies based on video games are so terrible? Uwe Boll! Far Cry with Germany’s second-biggest crime, Til Schweiger, and BloodRayne with Oscar-winner Ben Kingsley?! These are just two of his many video game adaptations that violate at least 50 articles of the Geneva Convention. Once confronted on a format where he reads hate comments, he said that game developers are "little pathetic sausages" and "little full cu*** (They don’t call German the language of poets for nothing), and that he only did it for the money. In 2006, he even pulled a Logan Paul before the guy was even a thing and fought the biggest critics of his films in a boxing match.

Because his newest film is called The Dark Knight, Warner Brothers even kindly sent him a cease-and-desist letter trying to ban the project, because then that Nolan flick would stink next to Mr. Boll's upcoming masterpiece. Uwe argued that Warner used Rampage as a film title, even though he had used the title for one of his movies many years prior. His Rampage movie actually stole the name from the video game Rampage, but wasn’t even about the game, while the Rock’s film was a video game adaptation. But hey, this is Uwe Boll’s world; we’re just living in it.
Match Made In Heaven
Armie Hammer will star as a man who takes on crime in his hometown, enacting brutal vigilante justice. As a result, he becomes a celebrated figure on social media, while Sanders finds himself in the crosshairs of the police. Armie Hammer, of course, was expelled from Hollywood due to his cannibalism and sexual misconduct allegations, leaving him with absolutely nothing but his – and this is true – billionaire parents. He really played a Uno reverse card on "Eat the rich."
Uwe Boll announced the new movie in his usual reserved and modest manner: The Dark Knight is coming! No more childish, woke, politically correct nonsense – here comes the real deal. The real deal is probably Armie Hammer shouting at the police: 'You want a piece of me?' But first, I want a piece of you, with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.
And, fun fact while we're at it: Remember when that lazy nobody Spielberg made Jurassic Park and Schindler's List in the same year? Having built the set for Blubberella, where Uwe, of course, plays Adolf Hitler in a superhero film – duh, he really took everything out of that set. The same year, he filmed BloodRayne: The Third Reich, Auschwitz, where he plays a gas chamber guard, AND even something completely different with In the Name of the King: Two Worlds. 2011 truly was peak cinema.
