The White Lotus recently received a promising update from HBO and Max content chairman/CEO Casey Bloys, despite Season 3 not even having a release date, yet.
The White Lotus may have started out as a small "limited series," but it seems that HBO Content Chairman and CEO Casey Bloys has taken quite a liking to the show and is excited about Season 4. This is despite the fact that the show's third season has been pushed back to 2025.
HBO has a strong set of original series in their library, with shows like The Last of Us, Game of Thrones (with a bunch of sequels they're working on), Chernobyl and many more! The White Lotus is one of those success-series, and apparently HBO is already planning for the Season 4 of the show.
The White Lotus Season 4: HBO's Content Chairman Already Excited Despite Delays For Season 3
In a recent interview with Variety, HBO content chairman/CEO Casey Bloys was talking about their upcoming slate of shows, when he revealed that he was "excited about who is going to come back for Season 4. It really is a fun model that Mike has set up,".
That's quite a massive tease considering Season 3 isn't even out yet and, even worse, has been delayed all the way back into 2025!
Still, it seems like HBO is placing a lot of trust in director Mike White and his vision for the show, but what really got me hooked was that tease regarding the returning characters!
Who can we expect to make their return in season 3? I can't wait to find out!
