Dota 2 puck — 5. Puck – The faerie dragon is not a very popular pick and the number of players that can truly play him is quite low. When you stumble upon a good Puck, though, you'll definitely know it. With two mobility spells, two ways to disjoint projectiles, area-of-effect silence and leash, Puck is really hard to chase down. Slark dota 2 — 4. Slark – The nightcrawler has plenty of movement speed thanks to his ultimate which, in addition to making him untargetable on use, can also allow him to easily de-ward thanks to the passive component. Slark also has access to a continuous hard dispel with Dark Pact, a gap closer with Pounce and is a total nightmare for any support. Stun him too early and it's dispelled, stun him too late and you're dead. Slark is also a nuisance during the laning stage as he'll steal stats with Essence Shift for quite a long time. Phantom lancer dota 2 — 3. Phantom Lancer – Another carry on our list that takes some time to come online. Once six-slotted, Lancer is pretty hard to deal with as you'll need some massive area-of-effect damage. That's not all, though, his Level 25 talent reduces the cooldown on Doppelganger to 6 seconds, making it even more challenging to find the real one. Dota 2 viper — 2. Viper – Viper is perhaps the most annoying hero to deal with during the laning stage. He can hit you with his Q without drawing creep aggro and if you try to hit him back, you'll get debuffed and take even more damage from his passive. There are heroes that can deal with him but even they can lose early on. Perhaps the best counter is to clear the wave asap and not trade any blows with him. (Image credit: Valve Corporation)

Dota 2 techies — 1. Techies – When you think "annoying" in Dota 2, there's only one hero that can take the throne and it's Techies. Many players would love to see the hero entirely removed from the game and arguably, nothing of value would be lost. The moment a Techies is picked in the match, the way the enemy team thinks changes. It's constant paranoia over mines and traps. The only ways to deal with Techies are spell immunity and good vision.
