It seems that NA organizations are feeling a lot of pressure for changes before the new VCT season. Could this be due to EMEA teams raising the bar at the World Championships?
FaZe Clan has always been (and probably will be) an organization that the esports community has high expectations for – it's such a big brand! The VCT 2021 season was actually pretty successful for them, and resulted in many people considering the former FaZe Clan roster to be an easy top 5 NA Valorant team, especially for the style they won the Stage 1 Challengers 3 tournament with. However, almost all NA teams have been playing a little worse lately, which was evident even at the Valorant Champions, where giants like Envy and Sentinels failed to make it out of the group.
For the past few tournaments, it felt like FaZe Clan was no longer the same team, which you could see especially during the Last Chance Qualifier, where they dropped out after 2 games. Shortly before this tournament, the organization ended the partnership with four players from their Valorant roster, keeping only Andrej "babybay" Francisty. Everyone knew that FaZe would form a new roster, especially with how many strong Free Agents are currently on the American scene. They didn't have much time to do it because of VCT 2022, but honestly, the roster they just announced has the potential for more than being top 5 NA. Much more.

Alright, you may have only seen the headline of this article, started looking for any information on FaZe's social media profiles, and found absolutely nothing. So, how do we know who will be on the new FaZe Clan Valorant team? All thanks to Battlefy, the website where the first Open Qualifier for VCT Stage 1 will take place. This is where FaZe Clan registered their new Valorant roster and as you can see in the image below, this could mean a revolution on the NA scene.
For some of you, this screenshot may not say much, so let's explain! According to the leak, the new FaZe Clan roster will look as follows:
