Light machine guns have never really been the meta in Warzone, with a few exceptions. Sure, the Bruen and the Bren are pretty badass, but that's not the norm. The SA87 is another one of those weird LMGs that sit somewhere between an assault rifle and a machine gun. It has decent damage, it's also a bit more mobile than the very heavy LMGs, but still not as precise or agile as the ARs. Nevertheless, the SA87 has an important role to play.
The SA87 comes from the old Modern Warfare 2019 days and can replace many an assault rifle with the right attachments. Gamers who are fans of the AMAX could have a lot of fun with the SA87, because they feel so similar in your hands. And with the right recoil attachments, the SA87 can be played as an extremely powerful long-range assault rifle.
The Best SA87 Setup
Overall, we have a typical long-range AR setup here, except for the laser. The silencer hides us on the mini map and increases bullet velocity, making long-range hits easier. The foregrip significantly reduces recoil, and the VLK sight is an excellent choice for medium to long range shooting. As always, the large magazine is self-explanatory. What's a bit more unusual is that instead of a barrel, we're taking the tactical laser with us. However, this is necessary to make the weapon a little more mobile and the range is good anyway, since we are talking about an LMG here.
Equipment & Perks For An SA87 Warzone Loadout
The Best Secondary Weapon For The SA87
Since we want to use the SA87 as a longer-range weapon, we need a good secondary weapon for close combat. If you really only switch to a second weapon in extreme emergencies, you can also grab the MAC-10, which shreds everything at short distances. But since we also want to be a little more flexible with the secondary weapon, we recommend the Welgun. It has an extremely large magazine, a good rate of fire and is very accurate, which is why we can still use it effectively at medium ranges. Here is our best Welgun setup.
The Best Equipment For The SA87
There's actually nothing special here. Semtex is always good regardless of the situation. Semtex works wonders against both infantry and vehicles. And in the Tactical slot you can of course also take the heartbeat sensor or something similar with you, but we like flash grenades. These are perfect for surprising opponents or using the hit markers to determine whether opponents are hidden in the next room.
The Best Perks For The SA87
|Perk 3||Combat Scout|
The standard perks again... Combat Scout is just too awesome not to grab it. I mean, who doesn't want wall hacks? And with Cold-Blooded we can counter this powerful Perk. And Overkill is mandatory, obviously, so that we can carry both weapons.
That's it with our SA87 Guide for Warzone. If you're looking for a slightly different weapon and don't want to just always chase the meta, the SA87 is definitely a good choice. Alternatively, the Bren is still very strong, but the Grau or the STG44 also pack a punch!
