Elon Musk Will Sell $6 Billion Tesla Shares to Combat World Hunger with Jake Paul

Jake Paul is in the headlines again, but this time, for a good cause: He wants to donate $10 million to combat world hunger, if Elon Musk donates $6 billion.

Hate him or love him, but $10 million is $10 million, and Jake Paul has vowed to donate it if Elon Musk donates some change of his own. Why, how, and what's even going on? Well, here are the deets: David Beasley, the director of the World Food Programme (falsely) claimed that $6 billion could stop world hunger. Beasley mentioned $6 billion specifically, because that is 2 per cent of Elon Musk's net worth, and Mr. Beasley has his eyes set on Elon donating the billions. The good sir has since gone back on his statement, and clarified: $6 billion could help 42 million people from starving. Elon Musk is not known to shy back from a little Twitter back and forth, and the billionaire replied:

So far, so good, right? Now, whether the WFP and Musk find an agreement, we'll probably find out soon, but Jake Paul is never one to miss out on an opportunity to market himself, especially not when he has another fight lined up, so he chimed in too, claiming that if Elon Musk actually does go ahead and donates $6 billion to combat world hunger, Jake Paul will donate a breezy $10 million of his own on top.

What else is there to say? I love it. I mean, you don't have to like Jake Paul to appreciate him donating a substantial amount of money to those in need. It certainly would be more than 99.9% of us have ever done, and it's irrelevant how much money Jake is left with (and it's a lot, judging by the purses he made in his boxing fights). In fact, if more millionaires and billionaires were to follow the example that Musk and Paul could possibly set, they could make a serious difference in the world. I'm certainly applauding the efforts of everybody involved, and shoutout to David Beasley for setting this whole thing in motion.
