A film is being made about Tom Clancy's fictional counter-terrorist task force, Rainbow Six. It will be the direct sequel to 2021's Without Remorse, and will feature Michael B. Jordan again. The star is reprising his role as John Clark, the first leader of Rainbow Six.
Do you remember the early Rainbow Six games? The "lore" has become f*cking bizarre in recent years (The Tournament of Champions? Really? Tom Clancy must be spinning in his grave), but before Siege, Rainbow Six had a pretty coherent storyline.
Rainbow Six was just an international counter-terrorist organization led by a character called John Clark. We're getting a movie about that period in Rainbow Six history, not the weird Siege stuff.
Rainbow Six Film On The Way From Director Of John Wick
A Rainbow Six film is in development from the director of John Wick, Chad Stahelski. This film will tell the story of the establishment of the Rainbow Six organization, and will feature Michael B. Jordan as John Clark. The film is actually a sequel to 2021's Without Remorse, which is based on a book of the same name, and tells John Clark's origin story.

The Rainbow Six film is expected to follow the first Rainbow Six novel quite closely. No exact plot details have been revealed, but this means we will probably get to see the very first mission the organization was sent on: freeing hostages taken during a bank robbery in Bern, Switzerland. We will, of course, update you as soon we hear anything more concrete. We also don't have a release date yet.
