Number 5 – Player of the Month Trent Alexander-Arnold (7,308 Dislikes)

Trent Alexander-Arnold may be one of the best fullbacks in the world, but he always stinks in FIFA. He has an 87 on his card, but his stats don't really reflect that.

However, his POTM card is over-hated in our opinion. EA's boost is solid, and the price isn't really critical either. No idea why the SBC was so poorly received.... | © EA Sports / EarlyGame

Number 4 – Flashback N'Golo Kanté (9.562 Dislikes)

In any case, I think we all agree that it's not the player's fault. N'Golo Kanté is right at the top of the list of the most popular footballers, but his flashback SBC wasn't the best. Why?

Well, you had to sacrifice almost 400K Coins and in the end, you got a version of him that is not at all or only a bit better than his Gold Rare. Simply not worth it. | © EA Sports / EarlyGame

Number 2 – Player of the Month Cristiano Ronaldo (14.456 Dislikes)

Player of the Month SBCs for the Premier League don't seem to go down too well with the community. But for real, it was just too early for Ronaldo in October. Hardly anyone can afford him now, and certainly not then.

Number 1 – Player Moments Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (16.151 Dislikes)

Player Moments Aubameyang is currently the Champion of bad SBCs in FIFA 22. Even though he combines everything that makes a meta striker in FIFA: pace, skills, weak foot, Premier League links...

Some SBCs are really cool, others you can simply yeet straight into the trash. It's almost astonishing how inconsistent EA is with prices of challenges and stats of some players in FIFA 22.

During Team of the Year, it's no different. With Player Moments Sergiño Dest, you got yourself an excellent deal, while – spoiler alert – Player Moments Gündogan appears on this list here. Why is that?

You'll probably notice relatively quickly that only Premier League players made it onto the list. Like in real life, you have to pay “English Tax” in FIFA 22 – and rightly so, nobody likes that. Let's have a look at the worst SBCs in FIFA 22 (until now)! True to the motto: Just have a look, don't complete them.
