Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 is about to start. What will the new map look like? What POIs will there be? Here's everything we know so far.
Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4: Paradise is slowly coming to an end and Chapter 4, Season 1 is in the starting blocks. That's right, after only 4 seasons the current chapter will end, which also means that we have to say goodbye to the Artemis map, as the island will change completely again.
But what will the Chapter 4 map look like? What locations will there be? Here's everything we already know about the Chapter 4, Season 1 map.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Map: A Football Stadium Could Appear
According to the Fortnite leaker FNLeaksandInfo, a stadium has been spotted in the game files. It's a very blurry image, but it has the layout and color scheme of a football stadium.

There have been stadiums in Fortnite before. Epic Games introduced a soccer stadium way back when as a sort of collaboration with the World Cup. Pleasant Park, a POI featured in both Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, also had a giant soccer field. In addition, in Chapter 1 there was also a soccer field in a hall, which is considered a landmark. It was a very popular place back in the day. So it wouldn't be surprising if a new stadium were to return to match the World Cup in Qatar.
POI DDMachine
Also included in the files is a new POI codenamed DDMachine. It is not yet known where this place is supposed to be, but it is associated with the words "Thermal" & "Lightning". Maybe some kind of experimental or weather station? DDMachine definitely sounds like an interesting place...

Alright folks, let's dig a little deeper... Hypex, also one of the most prominent Fortnite leakers out there, tweeted a list of names to appear on a new map in August 2021. At the time he thought these were locations for a survival mode map or for Chapter 3. However, he also wrote that the map is in a very early stage, so we conclude that Epic's files slipped through just as they were beginning to design the new Chapter 4 map.
Unreleased locations for a map codenamed "Demeter", it's in VERY early development and its probably for survival or Chapter 3:- Canoe Shop- Dragons Maw Cave- Farm- Forest Ruins- Haunted Hotel- Hiking Visitors Center- Hydro Power Station- Camp- Castle- Mansion- Prison

Some of the names on it sound incredibly exciting. Dragons Maw Cave, i.e. a dragon cave, a castle and a haunted hotel, should be represented on the map. We have to say that these are just leaks and none of these locations have been officially confirmed yet. But isn't it fun to do a little puzzling?
