Just very recently, on January 5, the UK-based tabletop studio Mantic Games announced that a brand-new adventure is currently in the making! This time around, their new board game will feature one of the biggest science fiction franchises out there: Halo! Let's take a look at what they have planned for this project!
It's not Mantic Games' first rodeo when it comes to creating amazing and unique tabletop games, which are based on already existing franchises. One of the coolest ones in my opinion is the Hellboy board game!
However, just a few days ago, on January 5, 2024, the UK-based tabletop studio announced their next big project, and to make it short: They will partner up with 343 Industries, to create a Halo board game! This is actually so exciting!

Halo Tabletop Game Estimated Release Date
For all those who are already excited about this new Halo experience, you won't have to wait much longer! The first official preview for the game is already scheduled for March 2024. This is where we will find out more details about the overall look and gameplay as well!
Mantic Games has also already confirmed the actual release of the game for September 2024. Sounds pretty promising, doesn't it?
What Can We Expect?
As already hinted at, the new partnership project from Mantic Games and 343 Industries will be a Halo miniature combat game! As I said, Halo just in a bit smaller!
The aim of this board game is to bring the halo experience to life with the help of incredibly detailed Spartan miniatures. However, the game is not only targeted at tabletop or halo veterans, as newcomers will also enjoy the experience.
Since there is no visual footage of the planned game as of right now, let's hear what Ronnie Renton, the CEO of Mantic Games, is imagining for this exciting new project:
