Lethal Company is a new horror co-op game that you can play with a group of friends. The newly released game offers both a single player, but also a multiplayer co-op mode for friends that like to hear each other scream.

While the co-op mode is the best way to experience the game, players should be aware of the maximum limit for a co-op group.

We played it on a horror gaming night, and can confirm that this game really is more fun if you play it with other people! So, get your friends together and hop in!

How Many People Can Play Lethal Company?

The maximum amount of players in Lethal Company is four. But fans of the game are literally begging for an increase of players, since they find it quite limiting. While some fans are waiting for the game to be updated, others have created mods that allow more than four players to play the game.

The only downside of these mods, though, is that they tend to break the game sometimes and need to be installed on every connecting client. But thanks to a recently released mod by MoreCompany, you're now able to increase the player count up to an incredible 32 people!

The developer confirmed the mod will only be stable with up to 8 people in total. That's nevertheless great news!

If you have a friend group that is bigger than four: Congratulations! Keep in mind that Lethal Company was created by a one-man team, and is still quite young, since it was only released on October 24 this year. Give the developer some time, and maybe they will officially increase the maximum player amount soon.
