Many of you have probably not played A Plague Tale: Innocence, right? It was critically acclaimed and not unsuccessful for a game of that size, but not a huge hit. It was a fantastic game, that everyone should check out on Game Pass, and in a few days it will finally get a sequel.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is the name of the game, and it looks amazing. In June the game got it's first gameplay trailer, including the reveal of the 2022 release date. Check it out here.

A Plague Tale: Requiem - Global Release Times

A Plague Tale: Requiem comes out on October 18 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and... Nintendo Switch? Yes, somehow that is happening too....

While console releases will happen at 0:00 (midnight) in a given region's local time, PC will be released at exactly 0:00 CEST, the time zone in which the developer is based. This of course means that the PC version will be available in different parts of the world at different times of the day, which you can see on this global map:

In this game, you play as Amicia and Hugo, two siblings who are trying to survive in the plague-ridden France of the 14th century. This dynamic between the two characters, one older and one younger, trying to survive together in an f-ed up, dangerous and sick world reminds us so much of The Last of Us. It already did in the first game, and the stronger emphasis on stealth-action gameplay in this sequel makes this comparison even stronger.

The first game was utterly brilliant, and we have high hopes for Requiem. Check out the brilliant gameplay trailer here.
