Xbox Game Pass Games May 2022 Revealed

The full announcement by Microsoft, where they reveal the whole batch of games in one big swoop, is finally here. We already knew a bunch of games that will come to Xbox Game Pass in May, and now we got the full selection for the first half of the month! Let's check out what's coming this month:

May 3

  • Loot River (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • NBA 2K22 (Cloud and Console)

May 5

  • Trek To Yomi (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Citizen Sleeper (Cloud, Console, and PC)

May 10

  • Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • This War of Mine: Final Cut (Cloud, Console, and PC)

May 12

  • NHL 22 (Console)

May 17

  • Her Story (PC)
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2 (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Little Witch in the Woods (Game Preview) (Console and PC)
  • Skate (Cloud)
  • Umurangi Generation Special Edition (Cloud, Console and PC)

May 19

  • Farming Simulator (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Vampire Survivors (PC)

May 24

  • Floppy Knights (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Hardspace Shipbreaker (PC)

May 26

  • Sniper Elite 5 (Console and PC)

May 27

  • Pac-Man Museum+ (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Cricket 22 (PC)

The new additions are pretty cool, again! The highlight is probably Sniper Elite 5. The previous entries were really fun games, and we're always down for some brainless action. There will again be some smaller games as well. Make sure to check out Trek to Yomi, a black-and-white samurai game that looks extremely cool. And we already sang the praises for Citizen Sleeper, which could be one of the Indie darlings of the year. So overall a pretty good selection and we're excited to check out these new games!

Which Games Are Removed From Xbox Game Pass This Month?

Of course, we will have to say goodbye to a few games as well. Four games will be removed from the Xbox Game Pass by the end of the month, so you'll have only two more weeks to play them.

Leaving May 10

  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition (Cloud and Console)

Leaving May 15

  • Enter The Gungeon (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster (Console and PC)
  • Remnant: From the Ashes (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Steep (Cloud and Console)
  • The Catch: Carp and Coarse (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • The Wild at Heart (Cloud, Console, and PC)

Leaving May 31

  • EA Sports NHL 20 (Console)
  • Farming Simulator 19 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Knockout City (Console and PC) EA Play
  • Resident Evil 7 Biohazard (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Spellforce 3: Soul Harvest (PC)
  • Superhot Mind Control Delete (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Yes Your Grace (Cloud, Console, and PC)

I'm sure everyone will be very sad about the “Definitive Edition” of GTA: San Andreas leaving... such a good game, after all. Alright, that was obviously a joke. We are actually losing some good picks. Enter the Gungeon is a brilliant rogue-lite and Final Fantasy X is one of the best games in the RPG series. So if you haven't played these yet, then get on it now!
