Ok, huge news. Big news. Graphic news. The PlayStation 5 just got its first 8K resolution game. It's not an absolute banger but damn it looks soooo good. Don't know what I'm talking about. Ok just wait for it.

The game is called The Touryst and it was already released in 2019 – for Nintendos Switch. Now it will be the very first 8K resolution game coming to PS5. Awesome!

Apparently, the game renders at 4320p on the PlayStation 5 without any elastic trickery like temporal super-sampling or AI upscaling. This means super image quality, like never before.

The Touryst Will Be Available In 8K Resolution On PS5

The Touryst will be the very first video game hitting that 8K 60 FPS milestone. Can you imagine: Gaming in the future will be always like this. For most of us, there will be one big problem, though. We don't have an 8K resolution TV which makes this sensational news a bit less awesome.

Anyway, this news just set a new bar for all the games in the future. Despite The Tourysts rather simple style of animation, the game now sets the bar for upcoming games. Just imagine how good Call of Duty, Battlefield or Porn will look like in 8K...

We can't even think about it right now. In case you don't know anything about The Touryst, just watch this little clip.
