At some point in Starfield you'll notice that not only your pockets, but also your storage, is filled to the brim. Of course, you could just upgrade your ship's storage capacity, but in the long run you'll surely want to get rid of a few items. Don't throw them away, though! After all, one man's trash is another man's treasure, and if you ask the people that belong to the Trade Authority, everything is treasure.

I mean, sure, you can spend your time running from one shop to the next, since most vendors will only buy items that are similar to what they sell themselves.

Unlike most shops, the Trade Authority will take everything that you offer them, and I mean everything. They'll even buy your contraband, should you be trying to get rid of it. The Trade Authority shops and kiosks are literally your one-stop-shop for selling items in Starfield!

They have plenty of locations spread all across the galaxy, so if you shouldn't have to travel far to sell your things! Lucky for you, we've comprised a list of all Trade Authority locations.

Some things that you might want to know before heading to a Trade Authority kiosk or shop with all your belongings in Starfield:

  • You can often find Trade Authority Kiosks near spaceports.
  • Trade Authority kiosks have a budget of 5000 credits, this limit will reset every 24 hours. So you can either choose to travel to a new kiosk or wait it out until the next day, so you can sell more.
  • Trade Authority shops on the other hand have a limit of 12,000 credits, so you can sell quite a lot of items there at once. Plus, while you're already there, many Trade Authority stores will offer quests and stories, if you're interested in that as well!

Now that that's settled, let's get on with the list of Trade Authority locations in Starfield!

New Atlantis

Most big settlements will have a Trade Authority shop and a Trade Authority kiosk available for you to use. This is also the case for New Atlantis!

Trade Authority Shop

One of the first Trade Authority locations you can find is in New Atlantis on Jemison. You'll have to dig a little deeper to find it, since the shop is located in The Well, an underground district under New Atlantis.

You can get there by taking the elevator at the spaceport or by taking one of the many other elevators scattered across New Atlantis and then look for "Trade Authority" near where the restaurant "Kay's House" is located. If you take the elevator at the spaceport, you can just head to the left of it, and you should find the shop pretty quickly.

Trade Authority Kiosk

The kiosk is easier to find. Like we said before, this kiosk can be found at New Atlantis' spaceport to the right of where you park your ship.

Akila City

Of course, the capital city of the Freestar Collective also has Trade Authority to offer. What else screams "freedom!" more than a free market economy.

Trade Authority Shop

You can find Akila City's Trade Authority shop right behind The Hitching Post, close to Akila City's entrance and the Galbank. Go down the narrow alley, and you should be able to find the shop!

Trade Authority Kiosk

Akila City's Trade Authority kiosk can be found just outside the city. After you land in their spaceport, go towards the "Welcome to Akila City" sign. The kiosk should be right behind that sign on the right-hand side in front of the city entrance.

Neon

Trade Authority Shop

Neon's Trade Authority shop can be found right at the entrance of the city. After you land in Neon's spaceport, take the elevator up to the city and look to your left to see the huge trademark neon yellow sign.

Trade Authority Kiosk

Just like Neon's Trade Authority shop, their kiosk can be found right near where you land with your ship. Instead of going up to the city, all you have to do is leave your spaceship and look to your left. Once you've found the Ship Services shack, go inside to access the Trade Authority kiosk in Neon!

Cydonia

Welcome to Mars! Hope you're not afraid to get your hands dirty, because Cydonia is a mining outpost on Mars, and they tend to be quite rusty and dusty.

Trade Authority Shop

If you're looking for Cydonia's Trade Authority shop, then you'll have to head down into the mining colony. After you've gone down into the colony, go straight ahead across the steamy ramp. You should be able to see the Trade Authority shop at the end of it, look for a glowing white sign above their entrance.

Trade Authority Kiosk

Are you only looking to sell a handful of items? Then you won't even have to go down into the mining colony! All you have to do is go towards the station's entrance and look for the Ship Service's shack. Unlike the kiosk in Neon, you'll find Cydonia's kiosk outside the shack, right at the railing.

The Key

Unlike all the other areas, The Key only has a Trade Authority Kiosk to offer, but it's better than nothing!

Trade Authority Kiosk

In order to be able to access The Key's kiosk, you'll have to complete the "Deep Cover" mission first. Once you've gained the trust of the Crimson Fleet, you'll be able to gain access to their Trade Authority kiosk, as well as many other lucrative offers.

The Den

You can find The Den in the Wolf System. It's a small space station that orbits around Chthonia that you might have overlooked before, but it's definitely worth checking out!

Especially if you enjoy dealing with contraband items, as this station doesn't scan you for contraband when entering or leaving.

Trade Authority Shop

After you've docked with the station, go past the ship technician to enter the station. Head to your left and look for a smaller store set into the wall. This inconspicuous little shop is one of the best Trade Authority shops in Starfield!

Trade Authority Kiosk

Remember that ship technician that you're supposed to walk past to get to the shop? Well, if you're looking for the kiosk in The Den, walk towards the same ship technician after docking and look to the right of him to find a glowing yellow kiosk.

What are you waiting for? Run over to your local Trade Authority shop to rack in those credits!
